KIMT-TV (CBS) is seeking a Producer who can write and edit stories while paying relentless attention to detail. The qualified candidate must be organized, efficient and passionate about news. A person in this position must possess the ability to meet daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment. An understanding of positioning great content on air, on our website and on our mobile and social platforms is a must. Applicants should have a four-year degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications or the equivalent. Candidates must possess strong writing, editing and presentation skills. The person we are seeking needs to multi-task in an intense, creative and ever-changing environment – while putting accuracy first. The perfect candidate will be a strong communicator who is willing to take charge while remaining calm under pressure. Experience is preferred.
